Protecting the interests of 2,200+ plot owners at Gowthami Nagar

To our credit, plot owners have stood united and protected our plots through all these years. But it is disheartening that generations have now changed hands, and we are still fighting the same battle — holding on to the hope of one day building the homes we dreamed of after retirement, on land we purchased with our hard-earned money. Land values keep rising, and so does the complexity of our case. While our court orders remain strong, the parties opposing us have significant money and influence. If they lose at a lower court, they have the resources to appeal to the High Court and even the Supreme Court. As we all know, our legal system moves slowly — a final, favourable verdict may take another generation to arrive.

As Society President and a well-wisher of every plot owner, I want to put forward a proposal: layout development through a single, established builder who has committed to resolving the pending issues and developing the layout as per HMDA norms — handing over our plots to us after deducting an agreed percentage from each. I believe this route could help all of us realize our dream of owning a developed plot within a much shorter timeframe, if the majority agrees to proceed.
